Dear members of Mustang Christian Church,
Once again, I hope this email finds you well.
With changes happening everyday in our battle to slow the spread of COVID 19 and considering the folks in our congregation who are at high risk, we will continue to cancel services where we all gather in the church building. This cancellation is expected to go through Palm Sunday and Holy Week. Since we see new restrictions everyday, we have to take each day as it comes to decide what each Sunday holds. It is the wish of our pastor to continue with the Facebook message, and that is the plan for this coming Sunday, March 29, 2020, unless there are circumstances that prevent the getting together of Randy and Kirk to record it. It is unclear at this time if the service will be live, with a change in WiFi, or a recording that will be posted at 11 am Sunday for us all to watch together. Be assured, consideration is being made each week to keep a message coming to our congregation!
As we wait this thing out, please call one another or send encouraging cards to one another. Marco Polo is a great way to use technology to visit face to face, it’s similar to a walkie talkie. The GroupMe prayer chain has been very active. All of these things will keep us united!
Please remember that we still have financial obligations, and that you can send your tithes/offerings to the church via two methods. Mail to: Mustang Christian Church, 1313 W. SH 152, Mustang, OK, 73099 or WWW.Mustangchristianchurch.com, use the Give Online link.
If you have prayer requests, send them along to your Elders and we will get them to Randy to pray during the online service. Of course, continue to pray daily for our world leaders, the sick people and all of the caregivers!
Bless you all, and DON’T LET FEAR STEAL TODAY’S JOY!
In Christ,Jean-Marie Otto
